Annual Flag Blog

“Classics, to me, is something that’s timeless, enduring. The things that never go out of style.” – Ralph Lauren, the designer who epitomizes the classic design of the American Flag.

In our yearly tradition, I am sharing some flags that caught my eye this year. From memorials to boats, to clothing to art, we express ourselves with pride through our flag…it is a symbolic design, bold and simple, created generations ago, yet would take top awards in contemporary design. It represents a nation of many people who continue to change and grow, suffer and prosper, be divisive and polarizing…our sense of pride.

“Sure I wave the American flag. Do you know a better flag to wave? Sure I love my country with her faults. I’m not ashamed of that, never have been, never will be.” -John Wayne.
